The lenses may not darken strongly inside a car because many windshields block part of the UV light that activates photochromic lenses. As a result, the color-changing effect may be weaker or slower while driving or sitting inside a vehicle.
For bright driving conditions, we recommend using dedicated sunglasses or driving glasses when needed.
