If you already use reading glasses, choose the same strength you normally wear, such as +1.00, +1.50, +2.00, +2.50, +3.00, or +3.50.
If you are not sure which strength to choose, you can use a general age-based guide as a starting point. Many people in their early 40s start around +1.00, while higher strengths are often used as close-up reading needs increase.
This guide is for general reference only and is not a professional eye exam. If you have different vision needs in each eye, eye health concerns, or are unsure about your strength, please consult an eye care professional.
